Type of insurance and cover provided
This is a policy of personal travel insurance which provides cover, subject to certain terms and conditions, for losses as a result of specified events which may occur before or during a trip including cancellation, loss of baggage and medical expenses.
Statement of demands and needs
This product meets the demands and needs of those who wish to recover the cost of emergency medical expenses and other specified losses that could occur while you are traveling. You will not receive advice or recommendation from us in relation to this policy. You will need to make your own decision as to whether it suits your needs.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for this insurance, the following requirements must be met:
- you must habitually reside in the United Kingdom (i.e. have your main home in the United Kingdom and have not spent more than 6 months abroad in the year prior to purchasing the policy); and
- at the commencement of the Period of Insurance not be more than 79 years of age.

- The policy contains restrictions regarding Preexisting Medical Conditions unless declared and accepted by the insurers in writing prior to travel will invalidate any subsequent claim. Some Preexisting Medical Conditions affecting Close Relatives will also not be covered. Please refer to the definition of a Pre-existing Medical Condition in the policy document.
- The policy excludes participating in, or practising for, certain sports and activities. Please refer to the Optional Winter Sports Cover, Optional Special Sports and Activities sections and points 15, 16, 17 and 18 the General Exclusions section.
- No cover is given under Sections 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 arising directly or indirectly from pregnancy within 8 weeks (or 16 weeks in the case of a known multiple pregnancy) of the estimated date of delivery.

Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel your policy of insurance within 14 days from the date of issue or receipt of policy terms and conditions, whichever is the later. We will refund to you any premium you have paid and will recover from you any payments we have made.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme
Europ Assistance Holdings Limited is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the FSCS, if Europ Assistance Holdings Limited is unable to meet its obligations. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit. Europ Assistance Holding Irish Branch is regulated by l'Autorité de Contrôle des Assurances et des Mutuelles (ACAM), the French Regulator. No compensation scheme is available in the unlikely event that Europ Assistance Holding Irish Branch is unable to pay claims against it.

This is vehicle breakdown insurance providing roadside assistance in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for this insurance, the following requirements must be met:
- each insured person for whom the appropriate premium has been paid must be habitually resident in the United Kingdom (i.e. have their main home in the United Kingdom and have not spent more than 6 months abroad in the year prior to purchasing the policy);
- the vehicle gross weight and dimensions must not exceed 3,500kg (or, subject to payment of the appropriate Minibus Additional premium, 4,600kg): length 7 m; height 3m; width 2.25m
- the vehicle must be less then 10 years old at the commencement of the Trip (or 10 years and over when the appropriate additional premium has been paid).

7 Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.
