This tour gives you an intimate introduction to some of the most highly regarded wines and brandies in the world. You visit two château vineyards in the Médoc, around Pauillac, and taste their wines.

Then in the evening over dinner, if you fancy indulging yourself, you could try such prestigious names as Mouton Rothschild, Châteaux Margaux or Lafite. Once in Coutras you visit another wine château close to St Emilion and make sure you explore this pretty village that is full of wine cellars.

Your time in Cognac is spent sampling more local wines and brandies at small local producers. This lovely old town is well worth exploring, and a visit to one of the world famous cognac producers - Martell, Otard, Rémy-Martin - is a must. Overall, a tour that could be quite intoxicating!

Car Tour Itinerary

A 6 night tour from Pauillac to Coutras and then on to Cognac. Arrive any day between 1 February & 11 November.
2 nights in Pauillac – Hotel de France et d’Angleterre
2 nights in Coutras – Hotel Henri IV
2 nights in Cognac – Domaine du Breuil
