Holiday Homes in France with a difference!
Check out the latest Owners in France brochure for a unique selection of properties. Book direct and save.
The latest Owners in France brochure is full of superb holiday accommodation, from châteaux to chalets, largely British-owned and predominantly in France, but with select accommodation also available in Spain and Portugal.
With an even greater range of independently owned properties, the 2005 brochure is a one-stop shop for whatever you and your friends or family like doing on holiday. Many of the properties are located near an activity to amuse you, from golf and fishing to reiki and art tuition – certainly something to suit all tastes!
A visit to France would not be complete without sampling some local wines and there are many properties ideal for either visiting the local vineyards or actually taking part in a wine tasting session on site. Take, for example, the charming St-Leger-De- Montbrillais (¹) in the Loire Valley. Sleeping 8-10 people, with a 12 metre swimming pool and a huge terrace for outdoor dining, the house is ideal for a large family or group of friends. The property is tastefully furnished and fitted with all mod cons including a wood-burning stove. Activities available at the property include guided cycling, wine tasting, table tennis, boules and much more, should the mood take you.
Besides all these activities, the properties themselves are very diverse. Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic hideaway or a group of friends looking for a large villa to party in, you will certainly find the right accommodation for your perfect holiday. If you fancy staying in more unusual surroundings how about a converted 13th century bailiff’s house in Aquitaine (²) or a mill on an island with a private river in Normandy (³)?
Flick through the brochure or visit the dedicated website for a browse through the collection. Each property features an easy to use key detailing the facilities, as well as a map reference and photograph. Once you have chosen your holiday home it is simply a matter of contacting the owners directly to make your booking! Prices start from £70 a week for a one bedroom thatched cottage near Honfleur in Normandy.
Getting there couldn’t be easier – or cheaper! Owners in France has a special arrangement with Brittany Ferries so that anyone booking a holiday home can travel on at discounted prices, starting at £138 return for a car full of passengers. Brittany Ferries conveniently sails from three UK ports – Plymouth, Poole and Portsmouth – to Roscoff, St Malo, Cherbourg or Caen in France, and from Plymouth to Santander in northern Spain.
