Special sailings for food and wine lovers at an unbeatable price

For just £55 per person, the French operator, Brittany Ferries, a company well known for the outstanding quality of its on-board cuisine, is offering people who appreciate fine wine and food the opportunity to sail from Plymouth to Roscoff and back on a Wine and Dine Cruise this spring.

Not only will it be possible to enjoy a top quality 3-course dinner prepared by French chefs in La Flora Restaurant on board Brittany Ferries’ flagship, Pont-Aven, but guests can also attend a tasting seminar in the afternoon on the outward journey. Conducted in the relaxing surroundings of the Commodore Lounge, the session will be led by local restaurateur and wine expert, Stephen Barrett, under whose instruction guests will be invited to taste some of the finest wines that France and Brittany Ferries have to offer. They can then buy these fine wines at highly competitive prices.

In addition to dinner and wine tasting, the price includes a berth in an air-conditioned 4-berth cabin with en-suite facilities both ways, so it really does represent outstanding value. After all, a comparable dinner alone can cost considerably more than £55 a head in many UK restaurants! Two special sailings are planned: Tuesday 21st March and Tuesday 25th April, both departing Plymouth early afternoon and returning overnight to arrive the following day.
