Special Autumn d-day package - only £86 per person*

Even though it was over 60 years ago that the American, British and Canadian forces landed on the beaches of Normandy to liberate their French allies, the area today remains virtually an open-air museum, being covered with museums, memorial sites and places of interest that enable visitors to gain some understanding of this very important time in history.

Brittany Ferries Holidays are offering a special 2 day autumn package which, is not only remarkable value, but also gives you a 'Journey through Normandy' audio tape and guide that takes visitors along six planned routes covering places of special importance. The holiday also includes entry to the Caen Peace Memorial, an outstanding exhibit showing the history of war from 1918 through to the present day.

This break comprises: return ferry crossing with car, Club Class reclining seat (cabins available at 50% discount), one night's bed and breakfast in hotel at either Hotel Mercure Côte de Nacre in Caen (ref. HF0249) or Château de Bellefontaine in Bayeux (ref. HF1815), entry to the Caen Peace Memorial and a 'Journey through Normandy' tape and guide.

Available from 1 October until the end of December, this special offer can be booked by calling 08705 360 360 quoting reference DDAY.
