Facilities on mv Pont-Aven

The Pont-Aven offers guests fantastic facilities, including a range of entertainment and relaxation options normally only found on cruise ships.

Pool & Leisure Area

The magnificent all-weather pool area offers guests the perfect opportunity to unwind. Relax on a sun lounger, sip a drink at the bar, or have a splash in the pool. The retractable glass panels allow you to make the most of this area, come rain or shine. The pool is outlined with stone and granite and offers great sea-views.

Entertainment

Talented live bands and solo vocalists, pianists, DJs and children’s entertainers all feature heavily in our busy entertainment programme on the Pont-Aven this year. The full line-up are onboard from mid-March to autumn 2008, with occasional solo tribute artistes in the school holidays too.

On Deck

For a stroll, the Promenade on deck six allows you to walk all around the ship, while the ship’s top deck offers a calm spot to relax, while enjoying the sea air and incredible views, particularly when entering or leaving the port.

Cinemas

Enjoy the latest films in the ship’s two cinemas, both featuring surround sound. The cinemas seat a total of 90 passengers.

Children’s playroom

Young children can enjoy fun and games in our supervised playroom.

Teenage Room

The games room on deck nine will keep teenagers entertained throughout the trip. Highlights include the latest video games and an air hockey table.

Lounges

There are a number of lounges on board where you can relax:

• Reclining Seat Lounge: This room on deck nine offers 47 comfortable reclining seats for passengers without a cabin.
• Commodore Lounge: This exclusive room on deck eight is for suite passengers, and includes access to two side patio areas.
• Mezzanine: The spacious lounge on the mezzanine level of the main bar includes comfortable lounge chairs and sofas.
