Tour de France 2008 action
Most cycling fans will agree that there is no greater race. This year's Tour promises a thrilling course, and fast start as there is no prologue for the first time in 40 years.
The Tour launches in Brest, France
Comprising of 21 stages, the Tour launches from Brest for the third time, and then heads through Brittany, across Western Loire and the Loire Valley before climbing through the Alps and the Pyrenees to finish the final stage in Paris.
In the 'post-Lance' era, excitement will mount as to who can now compete at top level and be in with the chance to win.
