By Car: If you're driving from London, take the M4 west to the junction with the M5 going south to Exeter. From Exeter, head southwest on the A38 to Plymouth.
By Train: Frequent trains run from London's Paddington Station to Plymouth in 3 ¼ to 4 hours. For rail information, tel. 08457 484950 in the UK. Plymouth Train Station lies on North Road, 5 minutes from the City Centre. First Group - number 4 runs from the station to the heart of Plymouth.
By Coach: National Express has frequent daily bus services between London's Victoria Coach Station and Plymouth. The trip takes 5 ½ hours. Call National Express on 08705 808080 for schedules and information.
By Foot: It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the ferry terminal from the town centre and 20 minutes from both the train and bus stations.

Plymouth Terminal Facilities
Baby Changing Area: There is a baby changing area on the first floor in the ladies toilet.
Cafeteria: There is a cafeteria in the terminal which opens for ferry arrivals and departures only. In high season there is also a takeaway facility in the car lanes.
Bureau de change: There is a Bureau de Change located at the Terminal Counter, open from 09.00-17.00 Monday-Friday, 09.00-16.00 Saturday-Sunday and for all ferry arrivals and departures. There is also a Thomas Cook bureau de change in the terminal, which is also open for ship arrivals and departures.
Cash Point: There is an ATM cashpoint in the main terminal building. (charge applies). Please note this service is currently out of order.
Disabled Services: Access to the first floor of the terminal is via an escalator or lift. Disabled toilet facilities can be found next to the car check-in lanes and also on the first floor of the terminal (access by lift). Wheelchairs are available from the passenger terminal. These must be requested at the time of check-in.
Left Luggage: There is no left luggage facility although there are lockers at Bretonside bus station.
Showers: Showers are available in the Freight Office for freight drivers.
Shuttle Bus: There is no shuttle bus between the ship and the terminal. It is approximately a 200m walk.
Telephones: Payphones can be found in the terminal on the first floor and also by the car lanes.
Terminal Opening Hours: The terminal is manned from 09.00 to 17.30 Monday-Friday, 09.00-16.30 Saturday-Sunday and for all ship arrivals and departures.
Tourist Information: The Tourist Information Centre is at Island House, The Barbican (01752 304849).
Parking at Plymouth Terminal: The ferry port offers good parking charged at £4.50 per day if you plan to leave the car.
Caravans can be parked 'overnight' in the car lanes provided they do not interfere with loading for any departures prior to that which you are travelling on.
