Jamie Newman - Entertainment Manager

Jamie Newman has been immersed in the world of light entertainment since he started as a Redcoat in the late 90s. He has worked on cruise ships, hotels, theatres and in living rooms, and now draws on this experience in his role onboard Brittany Ferries.

Jamie has spent the last two years at sea as an Entertainment Manager, looking after the day to day running of the programme of acts, events and activities, as well as presenting and hosting all of the live entertainment onboard. He does, however, still find time to perform himself, in a varying number of guises as a children's magician, a balloonologist and as a Blues Brother!

Carla Bragg - Entertainer

Originally from Sussex, Carla trained in a wide range of dance forms, competing and performing from a young age. Her passion being contemporary dance and physical theatre.

Carla furthered her training through a BA Honours Degree in Dance and Musical Theatre at Cumbria Institute of the Arts before jetting abroad to join show teams in Mallorca, Cyprus, Lanzarote and Turkey. She followed her love of travel and gained valuable presenting experience in order to develop her quirky and outgoing style.

Realising she wanted to develop her singing ability she then worked at various holiday resorts, performing frequently as lead vocalist within the production shows.

Carla's aims for the future are to work on cruise ships as a dancer and singer and her ambition is to be a Blue Peter presenter.

Claire Brett - Entertainer

Claire graduated from Bath Spa University with a 2:1 degree in Acting in 2006.

Since leaving university Claire has been a Holiday Park Entertainer, toured around Wales with a Children's Pantomime and enjoyed teaching Acting, Dance and Singing to youngsters.

She has had various acting and modelling roles including being a Miss England Semi Finalist last Year. Claire's work experience includes presenting for ITV and she is looking forward to performing onboard Brittany Ferries this Summer.

Paul Metcalfe - Entertainer

Paul Metcalfe is an exciting young talent whose career in Entertainment began at Newcastle Performing Arts. He then went on to study Media & Production at Salford University.

While working as a runner for a live CBBC event ‘The Big Bash' at the N.E.C. in Birmingham, a twist of fate led to him hosting The Warm Up show. It was a huge success and he was asked to host 5 shows a day. Paul became a Red Coat at Butlins and subsequently put all his new found skills into becoming an all round entertainer working on cruise ships & in hotels entertaining children and adults.

Paul is a regular presenter on Quiz television and has earned himself the nick name Puzzle Paul. Most recently he was selected to join QVC for countdown to Christmas before becoming a regular face for Panasonic. In 2007 he was selected to host a live tour of ITV's most popular game show for Fremantle Media – Family Fortunes.
