FGN002 Golf Club de l'Amirauté, Deauville, 

Built on a former stud farm, the superb course at l'Amirauté was designed by Bill Baker. A unique marshland course with 7 long water hazards, wide fairways and large greens, it gives the impression of playing golf in Florida, and from the back tees this can be a real challenge. If you are struggling with the golf you can try to spot the 31 contemporary sculptures found on the course, and the modern clubhouse, which serves excellent food, has a superb spot above the course with views out towards Deauville.

There is a supplement to play on Sat, Sun & bank holidays - £5 from 1/11- 31/3, £14 from 1/7-31/8 & £9 at all other times.
