Summary of the Pets Travel Scheme

General Information

It is not possible to book animals that are not covered by the Pets Travel Scheme online. In order to do so, please Contact us.

Cost (per animal):

£16.50 (UK to France) & £24.75 (France to UK) £27.50 (UK to Spain) & £38.50 (Spain to UK)

What you need (EX UK)

A valid DEFRA approved veterinary certificate showing that the pet has been micro chipped, vaccinated and blood tested for antibodies to rabies. N. B. Your pet may not re-enter the UK until 6 calendar months has elapsed from the date the blood sample, which led to a satisfactory test result, was taken. Therefore please allow at least 7 months for vaccinations before travel.

What you need (EX Continent)

A valid DEFRA approved certificate showing the animal has been treated against ticks and fox tapeworm not less than 24 hours, and not more than 48 hours, prior to departing from the continent.

We will not accept bookings:

On the day of departure
For unaccompanied pets
For those travelling by foot, bicycle or motorcycle
For rabbits
For ferrets (Continent to UK)
