Brittany Ferries extends season for Spanish services and offers a weekend Mini-Cruise ideal for Christmas shopping

Such is the success of Brittany Ferries' services from Plymouth to Santander this summer that the ferry operator has decided not to stop services for the winter period from mid-November as it has done in previous years, but to extend operations until 19 December with a convenient weekend service.

From 12 November until 19 December there will be a sailing every Friday departing from Plymouth at 2.00 pm arriving the next day in Santander at 1.00pm, returning at 7.00 pm and arriving in Plymouth on Sunday at 4.00pm.

The success of this route is due in no small part to the passenger appeal of Brittany Ferries' new £100 million flagship, Pont-Aven, which was introduced into service earlier this year. It is the most luxurious and fastest cruise-ferry operating from the UK, providing a quality experience more akin to that found on a luxury cruise than a ferry crossing.
