Garden visits around St Malo
In conjunction with the St Malo tourist office we have selected two beautiful 'malouinières' gardens which are open to the public, each offering discounted entry fees to Brittany Ferries clients. Malouinières are elegant privately owned properties built in the 17th & 18th centuries within 10-15km of St Malo as summer residences for wealthy ship builders or merchants away from the confines of St Malo's old walled town. The extravagant properties usually had equally impressive grounds to reflect their owners' social status.
How to claim your discount
To claim your discounted entry fees just present your Brittany Ferries travel document (the reduced prices are shown below).

Close to both Dinard and Saint Malo and bordering the beautiful Rance estuary, the Domaine de Montmarin was built in the 18th century with a 15 acre park sloping gently down to the water in a series of terraces. In front of the château is a formal French garden which has hardly changed since its original design, overlooking the park and laid out in 1885 in English style, with ancient trees, wide lawns, thickets, rockery and flower borders. Each year new varieties of trees and flowers are added to the already large collection.
