Short Break Destinations in Normandy
- Trouville
The village of Trouville, separated from Deauville by just the width of the Touques River, is a considerably less formal resort than its neighbour. Having said that, it does boast an equally impressive beach, plus a number of grand buildings and a casino.
But Trouville is also a working fishing village, and there are all the other elements you would expect to find - bustling quays, daily markets, and narrow picturesque streets full of quaint shops.
A Great Choice of Activities
Naturally, there is a good choice of restaurants in which you can enjoy a wide variety of seafood caught that very same day.
For the more active visitor there are plenty of opportunities for sailing, golf and horse riding, while if you really want to relax you may care to pamper your body with a session or two at the thalassotherapy centre.
