Procedures for dogs on board Cap Finistère

Please take the time to read these procedures that exist to help all our canine and human passengers.

For dogs travelling in a kennel

Embarkation

  • Your pet must remain in your vehicle until departure.
  • On departure, an announcement will be made to ask all pet owners to report to the information desk on deck 7.
  • A steward will then escort you down to the garage to collect your dog and bring to the kennel, on deck 10, via the blue lift.

During the crossing

We provide a convenient dog walking area on deck 10, close to the kennels. The kennel security code number is C1348

Disembarkation

  • An announcement will be made one hour before arrival to bring your dog down to your vehicle.
  • When the announcement is made, please wait at the kennel for the steward. He will escort you down to the garage, via the blue lift.
  • For your and other passengers' security and the security of your dog, the wearing of a muzzle is compulsory during the transfer from your vehicle to the kennel, and vice versa.

For dogs travelling in a cabin

Embarkation

  • Your pet must remain in your vehicle until departure.
  • On departure, an announcement will be made, asking all pet owners to report to the information desk on deck 7.
  • A steward will then escort you down to the garage to collect your pet, and up to your cabin, via the red lift.

During the crossing

We provide a convenient dog walking area on deck 10. From your cabin, please use the door giving access to the outside deck at the stern of the ship on deck 9. You will find on the right the stairs going to the dog walking area on deck 10.

Disembarkation

  • An announcement will be made one hour before arrival to bring your dog down to your vehicle.
  • When the announcement is made, please wait in the cabin for the steward who will escort you down to the garage, using the red lift.
  • For your and other passengers' security and the security of your dog, the wearing of a muzzle is compulsory :
  •     during the transfer from your vehicle to your cabin and vice versa
  •     during the transfers between cabins and dog walking area
