A festival of Basque culture and language.
The Euskal Herria Zuzenean or EHZ festival is all about Basque language and culture. Over the three days of the festival, 60 shows and concerts will take place on five stages. Located in the village of Helette near Bayonne, the EHZ festival promotes the values which are dear to the Basque people, including the promotion of the Euskara language and Basque civil and political rights.
The festival programme ranges from street arts to theatre, concerts, dance performances and conferences… not forgetting a hearty barbecue!
