Facilities on Cap Finistère

On board Cap Finistère you'll find plenty of facilities to keep you occupied during your sailing. As well a cinema, games rooms and shops, you can also take a stroll around the ship and enjoy some time on the sun deck - which is bliss on a clear day.

Les Boutiques

Our boutiques on decks 7 offer a fine range of spirits, wine, tobacco, perfumes & cosmetics, leather goods, confectionery, toys, fashion, decoration, souvenirs, newspapers, games, cameras, sunglasses, jewellery...

Wines, spirits and tobacco are sold in our onboard shops at French prices, which means they cannot be purchased within UK territorial waters - the shops may open for browsing, and sales of other goods closer to the UK, but we are not allowed to sell passengers alcohol and tobacco within 20 minutes of the UK port. The purchase of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to persons under 18.

Purchases made on board may be paid for in Euros or Sterling. Payment can be made in cash, by credit or debit card. Prices are shown in both currencies and you can combine different payment methods.

Heated outdoor swimming pool

The small outdoor pool area offers guests the perfect opportunity to unwind. Relax on deck 10, sip a drink from the bar, or have a splash in the pool that offers great sea-views. The swimming pool is usually open from May-September, depending on conditions. The pool is filled with sea water and is heated to a very comfortable 27°C. Children should be supervised and no lifeguard is on duty.

Spa treatment rooms - NEW

Our Spanish services are all about enjoying a relaxing, cruise-type experience with fabulous dining, cinemas showing the latest films, stylish boutiques and quality entertainment.

This year, passengers travelling to Spain on board Pont-Aven and Cap Finistère will also have the opportunity to indulge themselves in a range of spa treatments. Find out more

Kennels

Large and small kennels are provided for dogs on Cap Finistère. 

Cap Finistère is also equipped with 14 pet friendly cabins (4 berth with porthole), these must be booked on the telephone through our reservations service.

Dog exercise area

Recently introduced on Cap Finistère is a dog exercise area located on deck 10.

Movie Lounge

There is a movie lounge onboard where you can catch some of the latest films (including some for the kids). This is situated on deck 8.

The movie lounge has comfortable seating and is equipped with surround sound for a true cinema experience. We offer a selection of the latest releases with genres for the whole family to enjoy.

Tickets are on sale at the Information Desk 15 minutes after departure priced at £5.50 per adult and £4.00 per child.

Fun and Games

Throughout the season there will be bingo, card making, magic shows or you can try your luck with a quiz. For details pick up an entertainment sheet from the information desk on board.

Chance Planet Games Room & Slot Machines

Try your luck in our big-prize slot machines and games room. Situated on deck 8.

Children's play area

Young children can have fun and enjoy the outdoor, covered play area on deck 10.

On deck

Cap Finistère features plenty of deck space so you can stretch your legs and and enjoy a calm spot to relax, while enjoying the sea air and incredible views, particularly when entering or leaving the port.

Whale and Dolphin Watching

Brittany Ferries have teamed up the marine conservation charity ORCA to provide you with the opportunity to identify whales, dolphins and birds during your crossing. Look out for our resident Wildlife Officers who give informative presentations as well as all important deck watches. They are also on hand to answer any of your questions. To help you with spotting, binoculars are available to borrow from the information desk on deck 7. ORCA are on board for the Spring and Summer season

Wi-Fi internet access

If you want to get connected, your laptop, tablet or smartphone will pick up WiFi in all public areas on deck 7, the Planets bar on deck 8 and the Belle Vue bar on deck 9. Passengers wishing to use this service should go to the information desk to purchase WiFi time. Prices are £4.00 for up to one hour or £8.50 for up to three hours. Internet connection is via a satellite and speeds may vary.

Other facilities

Baggage room: If you wish to leave your baggage then please enquire at the information desk. This room is locked during the crossing and is opened approximately 20/30 minutes before arrival. Located on deck 6.

Cash machine dispensing Euros:  You can withdraw Euros from the cash machine located near the information desk on deck 7. There is no Bureau de Change onboard Cap Finistère.

Games: A selection of fun board games are available to borrow from the information desk (deposit required).

Disabled toilets: Are available on board.

Lifts: are available for access to all decks. There is also an escalator at the rear of the ship down to the car decks.
