Dick Whittington - A Ship's Adventure

Following the incredible success of our "Cinderella" production last year, we are proud to announce that our summer pantomime for 2010, on the Bretagne's daytime St-Malo to Portsmouth crossing is "Dick Whittington - A Ship's Adventure".

Based loosely on the true story of Richard Whittington, it tells of a boy who sets off for London to find his fortune and eventually becomes the Lord Mayor of London.

In this fabulous family show, Dick embarks on a journey which takes him from his job as a rat-catcher at Fitzwarren's Stores to a voyage on a ship to Morocco to rescue his love - Alice Fitzwarren, from the villainous King Rat. All of this with his ally, the loveable Tommy the Cat by his side.

Passengers travelling on the Bretagne from St Malo between July 22nd and September 2nd will enjoy this vibrant new version of Dick Whittington, during the afternoon.

And just like any other panto, there's plenty to entertain passengers of all ages!
