French Golf Course in Loire Valley

Designed by Cabell Robinson and opened in 1992, this course has a very good reputation. Laid out in the beautiful Sologne forest, it has many water hazards and some fearsome bunkers. The Peugeot Golf Guide gives it a rating of 17/20 (compared with 18/20 for the West course at Wentworth) and describes it as one of the finest French courses that is exemplary in terms of architecture. It has also hosted several French PGA Championships.

There is a supplement to play on Sat/Sun: £9 from 31/10-13/3 & £14 at other times
