Cruise to Spain and back

You leave Plymouth on a Sunday late afternoon and arrive in Santander, Spain, the next day at lunchtime. Then it's an easy drive (about 1hr 45mins ) straight to your hotel near Gijón in Asturias where you spend the next 3 nights before leaving on Thursday to catch the afternoon ship from Santander that arrives back in Plymouth Friday first thing, allowing you time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast onboard before disembarking.

You have the best of both worlds when staying here: peace and quiet plus onsite golf yet just a short distance away the hustle and bustle of Gijón's city centre where you'll find plenty of evening activity - a good choice of dining venues, as well as bars after taking an early evening stroll along the promenade together with the locals - a favourite pastime in Spain. And when you're not teeing off, take time to visit the capital of Asturias, Oviedo - a historical and lively university city, as well as the pretty fishing ports and villages scattered along the coastline between here and Santander.

Our package includes a round on the hotel's own course, plus another on either Golf Castiello or La Barganiza. However, if you wish you can book and pay for extra tee times on any of these golf courses or others featured in Spain.
