Cruise to Spain and back

Leave UK on Wednesday at midday and arrive in Santander the next morning after breakfast, refreshed and ready for the drive to Salamanca in Castilla-León. This will take just over 4 hours, largely on motorway, with many interesting places along the way to stop and see, or drive straight there and explore Salamanca. Alternatively, why not consider paying for an extra game of golf and play Pedreña (Seve’s home course) near Santander before starting your journey. Your break finishes on a Monday but the ship doesn't leave until late afternoon so your return journey can be quite leisurely unless you want to take the opportunity to look around Santander prior to boarding. You get back to Plymouth on Tuesday morning.

The ancient university town of Salamanca is also the most graceful city in Spain and the Hotel abba Fonseca is right in the centre so during the 4 nights spent here you can spend time discovering all it has to offer between having some great games of golf on the three fabulous courses.
