Omaha Beach Autumn Challenge
26th - 28th October
Our final tournament for 2012 will be a return to our favourite venue Omaha Beach - a proven formula for this very established weekend of friendly competition. It is also a time to catch up with many of our regular entrants who just keep returning for this end of season fun event. Prices start from just £145* per person.
What's included:
- Overnight sailing to Caen with 4 berth inside cabin
- 2 days of stableford competition
- 1 nights B&B hotel accommodation with twin rooms at the Hotel Ibis in Port en Bessin
- Prize giving ceremony
- Return afternoon sailing back to Portsmouth
Tournament details
- All scoring is Stableford.
- Individual full handicap
- Pairs ¾ handicap
- We play 18 holes over both the Mer and Manoir courses
- Our normal format is a shot-gun start on both days
- Prizes are provided by Callaway Golf and feature golf bags, holdalls and shirts etc
- Bed and breakfast included at hotel with free parking
- Hotel 300 yards from centre of Port en Bessin which has a selection of local bars and restaurants
- All welcome Men, Ladies and Professionals this is a fun weekend

Itinerary
Sail out from Portsmouth on Friday 26th October at 22:45 with a 4 berth inside cabin. Arrive in Caen 06:45 and make our way to Omaha Beach. Shot-gun start each day. Day one at 09:30 and day two 08:30. Stay one night at the Hotel Ibis right in the centre of Port en Bessin. Prize giving takes place on Sunday in the clubhouse before sailing back to Portsmouth from Caen, departing 17:30
