Madame Cocar's workshop provides an in-depth introduction to the techniques of traditional stained glass and the asymmetric creative work required to produce the required thick glass using traditional craftsman's methods. For 25 years the work of production has been carried on in this studio, with the utmost respect for the material and how it will blend into the environment for which it is destined.
The stained glass produced in this workshop graces buildings both public and private along the Breton coast. Other smaller pieces, known as "cabinet stained glass", are on display in the exhibition gallery outside the studio.

On the sea-front with a south-facing terrace, this delightful brasserie with its smart, contemporary decor offers a menu centred on fish, seafood and scallops. There are two floors, each with its own atmosphere: quieter upstairs, brasserie-style downstairs with a terrace seating 100. The chef's speciality is, as always, the Ronde de Saint-Jacques, a selection of scallop dishes with differing tastes. The food is attractively presented on large plates decorated with dashes of edible colour (condiments, herbs, cordials); if seafood is what you crave, order one of the impressive double-decker seafood platters.

L'Escurial offers gourmet dishes plus a stunning view of the sea and the harbour from its huge windows. The red colour-scheme gives a modern touch with authentic ship's decking and a selection of authentic maritime objects as decoration.
Fish, seafood and shellfish figure heavily on the menu, depending on the season. Served with one of the hundred wines on the wine list, the buckwheat pancakes stuffed with spider crab and crayfish coulis take on a whole new dimension.

Stéphane and Corinne Ollivier are famously committed to light cuisine; serving fish and seafood in juices and flavourings rather than in sauces has become a speciality of their restaurant. The result is instantly mouth-watering, starting with hot oysters before continuing with a fillet of sea-bass or cod, flavoured according to the season.

Every Saturday morning is oyster time, when oysters are served at just 20 centimes a piece, with bread and butter! No need to add, perhaps, that the atmosphere is particularly friendly and lively!
The bar specialises in wine by the glass, red or white, served on the boat-shaped terrace (open in summer, closed and heated in winter). The ideal place for a lunchtime snack in the middle of a day's shopping in the town centre.

Here is a bar where it's easy to spend a whole evening, from aperitif via a convincing wine list to the evening concert held once a month, accompanied by savoury snacks of bread, sausage and rillettes.
The style is pleasantly old-fashioned Paris bistro, bench-seats and all. Themed discussion and poetry evenings are regular events.

The Guinness here is served in a typically Irish pub setting, with wood panelling and some slightly unusual decorations: a multitude of small wooden boxes and small suitcases.
