Traditional cycle hire in St Malo

If you're staying in St Malo for a couple of days why not hire a bicycle and combine a bit of exercise with exploring further afield. Brittany Ferries have teamed up with Electra-Breizh to offer you a 10% reduction on hire prices on presentation of your Brittany Ferries travel document.

What's more Electra-Breizh are happy to deliver your bike to your hotel (minimum rental ½ day) and you will also be given suggested itineraries starting from and returning to your hotel or the hire shop.

Suggested itineraries

A popular itinerary involves cycling past the Museum Jacques Cartier, Sainte Suzanne lake, the fishing village of Cancale, the Pointe du Grouin and returning via the coast.

Or you may prefer to take the boat trip from St Malo to Dinard (Electra-Breizh have negotiated special fares for their clients) and after a visit to this pleasant resort cycle alongside the River Rance.

• Bicycles can be hired by the half or full day
• Free maps of the area are provided together with suggested itineraries
• Free recovery in case of breakdown
• Adult helmets are supplied on request free of charge
• Childrens' helmets are compulsory and supplied free
• Each bicycle is supplied with a lock
• Child seats are provided free of charge on request
• Front and back lights are included in the rental
• A basket or rack depending on style of bicycle is also supplied
