Baby changing room
There is a baby care/ changing room on the first floor, accessible by lift.
The bar is open all day, from early morning until late evening.
Bureau de change
There is a Bureau de Change facility (not operated by Brittany Ferries), which is open for ferry arrivals and departures.
- 2 storey building is easily accessible with a wheelchair and has a lift to the first floor
- Free disabled parking is available in front of the terminal building and there is a restricted car park behind the terminal which is 3,50€ for 12 hours
- Disabled toilets can be found on the ground floor of the terminal. Other disabled toilets are accessible from the different berths
- Transport is provided for disabled foot passengers directly to and from the ship
- Unfortunately, the free shuttle bus organised by the Port to the city centre does not offer disabled access
- Wheelchairs are available in the terminal in case of emergencies
Showers can be found in the terminal. They are open for use during ship arrivals and departures. There is no charge for usage.
Souvenir and Paper Shop
This shop is open for arrivals and departures.
Phonecard payphones can be found in the terminal. Phonecards can be purchased from the freight office counter or the Bureau de Change. There is also a credit card payphone.

The terminal is manned for ship arrivals and departures.

Travelling with Dogs
There is a small grassed area outside the terminal where dogs are allowed but they must be on a lead and muzzled. Dogs are not allowed to leave the vehicle once they have been checked in.

Taxis can normally be found outside the terminal. If there are no taxis available, passengers are advised to contact the Brittany Ferries information desk in the terminal.
A free shuttle bus, run by the port authority, is available from Cherbourg port to La Cite de la Mer, near the town centre, leaving approximately 30 mins after the ferry arrives in (for both Barfleur and Normandie Express arrivals).
If travelling on the Barfleur, a service is available on the return crossing operating twice daily from La Cite de la Mer to the terminal leaving 1hr 15mins and 60 mins prior to your scheduled departure time.
If travelling on the Normandie Express, a service is available on the return crossing operating twice daily Mon-Wed leaving 1 hr 15 mins and 60 mins prior to departure, and once a day Thurs-Sun leaving 60 mins prior to your scheduled departure time.
Regular services operate from Cherbourg train station to Caen, Rouen, Paris St Lazare (via Caen) and Rennes (via Lison). Cherbourg train station is located in the centre of the town and is a 5 minute taxi journey from the ferry terminal.
A free shuttle bus is available, please see above. If you wish to walk, it takes approximately 20-30 minutes to the town centre and 40 minutes to the train station from the terminal.
There is a car park situated in front of the terminal for short and long-term stays. There is no charge for parking here but it is at the owner's risk. Part of the car park is reserved for motor homes and caravans and there is 24 hour access to toilet facilities. Secure parking is available behind the terminal for €3.60 per day.
