Description of Accommodation

At the southern side of the popular bay of Arcachon, this charming seaside resort is a great place to stay with lots to see and do. Bike hire on site and indoor & outdoor tennis 2.5k (20% discount for guests staying here). As well as a beautiful beach with children's playgrounds at La Hume (4k), Gujan Mestras has a yacht port, a string of seven fishing harbours and is famous for its oysters. There's also Aqualand, a huge water park with wave pool and waterslides. Close by is the Teich ornithological park, and the amazing Dune du Pyla giant sand dune is an easy drive.

There are 14 villas in this attractive complex in a natural setting by the Golf de Gujan Mestras which also includes 22 apartments and 24 houses surrounding a heated outdoor pool and paddling pool (unheated). Bordering the golf course, each villa is single storey (with mezzanine bedroom) and has its own private outdoor pool (7m x 4m and 1.25m deep with safety cover). All have well equipped kitchen area with dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, washing machine & American style fridge/freezer. Light, spacious living rooms have glass doors to pool and garden with terrace & furniture. Beds are singles which may be linked to make king size double beds. Barbecue hire. Pets accepted (around 44 euros per pet per stay).

Max: 8/10 - Spacious open plan living room with kitchen and dining area, tv, double sofa bed. Bathroom/wc. Separate wc. 3 bedrms sleeping 2 (1 with en suite bathroom/wc and separate shower). Stairs from lounge to mezzanine with twin beds, suitable for children. Wi-Fi (charge payable).
