Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Attractively restored 200 year old detached cottage with exposed beams set in very large garden on edge of village. No smoking. Open plan living room with kitchen (w/machine, m/wave) & dining area, 2-seater sofa, easy chair, satellite tv/dvd/video (many English channels including BBC, ITV & children's). Lots of dvds, videos, cds and books for clients' use. Steep open tread stairs to bedrm (dble & sgle bed + cot) & bath/shower/wc. Stairgate, baby bath. Separate grd flr studio with dble bed, cane settees, en suite bathroom/wc; kitchen. Electric heating (included). Duvets. Decking with garden furniture & bbq. Ideal let for 2 couples. Plenty of parking. Utility charge: included.
Near lake (beach, watersports) & within easy reach of all the attractions of the Dordogne & Vézère. There's a wine merchant 10 minutes' walk away and the famous Lascaux caves are about an hour's drive. The local town of St Yrieix de la Perche (8k) has most services & amenities including shops, supermarkets, restaurants, a weekly market & an indoor swimming pool.

A much needed holiday of Peace & Quiet, away from the rain & floods in England, the restful garden has done its work on us.
