Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

One of 2 attractive semi-detached cottages (each with plenty of privacy, see QA1239 Max 2) in quiet setting near owners' holiday home. Kitchen/dining room (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer, w/machine) with door to garden. Pleasant lounge with fireplace (1st basket of logs free), video, dvd, tv with English channels, door to garden. 2 grd flr bedrms (each with door to gravel courtyard) - 1 dble (3 steps down), 1 twin. Bath/shower room/wc (t/dryer). Separate wc. First floor has bathroom/wc & 2 king size (6ft) dble bedrms - 1 with 4-poster bed, small balcony & small shower/wc. Travel cot, high chair, baby bath. Electric heating (included). Large wooded grounds (shared with QA1239) with bbq area. Gravel courtyard with garden furniture. No smoking in bedrooms. Utility charge: included. The Pool: 11m x 5.6m and 1m - 2m deep with night bubble cover. Fenced, with sun terraces & loungers. Open June to mid Oct, shared with QA1239 and (rarely) owners.

This is well situated, a half mile walk from the pretty village of Ste Alvère, which has shops and a Monday market, and within easy reach of many attractions of the Dordogne.
