Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

As well as being famous for excellent wines, St Emilion is a picturesque town in a landscape listed as a World Heritage site. There are charming old cobbled streets (some quite steep) best explored on foot, and pavement cafés where you can sit and admire the ancient architecture. Bordeaux (35k) and the nearby Dordogne are easily reached making it a perfect base to explore this beautiful area.

In a wonderful setting amongst the vineyards of St Emilion, this is a small welcoming site with 180 spacious pitches. There are plenty of activities here including a lake where you can fish, hire pedalos and canoes or enjoy walking and cycling. The heated aquatic area has waterslides and large sun terraces with views of vine-covered hills. In summer there are organised wine tasting, vineyard and château visits.

Max: 4 - Chalet style 'Melchior' mobiles homes have living room with padded seating (converts to double bed), kitchen area (fridge/freezer, microwave, 4 ring hob, dishwasher). Double (king size bed) & twin bedroom. Shower. Wc. Terrace with garden furniture.

Max: 6 - 'Balthazar'. As Max 4 above, except padded seating does not convert to a bed and there is an extra twin bedroom.

SPORTS - Tennis (2 courts), football, table tennis, volleyball, canoeing.

FOR CHILDREN - Play area, free children's activities (4-12 years) with arts & crafts, treasure hunts etc.

OTHER ACTIVITIES - Lake with pedalos, canoes and fishing. Further watersports at lake in Libourne (10k). Giant chess. Wine tasting & château visits in Jul/Aug.

SWIMMING - 2 interconnecting heated outdoor pools (12m x 6m and 10m x 5m, one with waterslides) and a paddling pool, open all season.

End of stay cleaning - 65 euros.

Towel hire - 6 euros per person.

Baby facilities - Hire of kit (cot & high chair) 4 euros per night 1/7-31/8, free at other times.
