Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Well renovated, 13thC three storey tower in village centre (bar, restaurant 200m) behind church (bells ring every half hour) and opposite owners' house. Alt. 895m. Entrance hall on grd floor leads to small shower/wc (w/machine). 1st floor has a cosy kitchen/ dining room with mini oven (no normal oven), inset fireplace, tv and door to outside stairs leading to well kept enclosed garden. Steep, open tread stairs (no banister on one side) leads to 2nd floor dble bedrm. Duvets. Electric heaters. Lawn, garden furniture & bbq. Utility charge: metered.

Ambert (25k) is famous for its production of a mild blue cheese (Fourme d'Ambert) and there is an interesting museum dedicated to it in the village centre. Freshwater swimming at Arlanc.
