Arriving at your property

Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.

Description of Accommodation

Rustic, tastefully furnished 17thC cottage (a former dairy) adjoining empty barns. In lovely country setting near owners who keep chickens, geese & a friendly dog & cat. No smoking. Cosy open plan living room (sofa & easy chair, tv - English channels, dvd) with beams & large stone fireplace with woodburner (around 20 euros per barrow of logs); kitchen/dining area (m/wave). Open tread stairs to 1st flr with charming dble bedrm (king size 4-poster bed, no door) & bathroom/wc (corner bath). Cot, high chair & stairgate on request. Electric heater (included). 3-acre grounds (garden furniture, bbq) shared with owners. No smoking. Utility charge: included.

A great place to step back in time & enjoy the countryside. The local village is only 1k and has a well stocked shop & bakery and the market town of Callac (6k) has a beautiful lake with walks and some excellent restaurants. The north and south coast beaches are within an easy drive.
