Description of Accommodation

Very appealing rustic detached cottage near friendly owner's home in fairly isolated setting but within easy reach of attractions. Living room has kitchen area (d/washer, m/wave) & dining/sitting area (fireplace). Shower/wc. 1st floor landing (via steep, open tread stairs) with sgle bed leading to dble & twin bedrm (sloping ceilings). Cot < 2yrs, high chair & stairgate. W/machine. Lovely secluded garden with furniture & bbq. Utility charge: metered.

The owner is happy to show guests his workshop where he does sculptures & etchings. Scaër (5k) is a pleasant little town with a few shops - it also has a water activity centre. Concarneau, Bénodet & Quimper are all easily reached.

This is a lovely quiet place in which to relax! The gite is very pleasant with a lovely garden. As with all traditional gites, the downstairs is a bit dark. You can open the windows which improves the light levels. The bed was very comfortable and the gite was very clean! Mr & Mrs Kirby, September 2012

Thanking you both for your hospitality in making us so welcome, our only sadness is we could not spend more time in your company to exercise our very limited French. In fact we have been so busy visiting as many of the sights as six days would allow in what has been almost perfect weather. We had a great time. This is a really nice tranquil place to stay. Evening meals under the walnut tree with a glass of wine. What more could you ask for?
