Excellent location, near village amenities & a short drive from beautiful beaches. Estuary beach 20 min walk down country road.

The gite is so well placed for visits to Dinan, Dinard, St Malo & Mt St Michel. We found it very comfortable & were welcomed by Mme Lebreton & Dumber the dog. The pretty little grey white cat 'Lily' was an added bonus for us. The English TV was much appreciated. La Vieille Auberge was really good with steaks cooked on the wood fire. We have spent a wonderful week here, a lovely gite in a super location. We have enjoyed meals at La Gargote & La Vieille Auberge (great food & very accommodating with children). Enjoyed a day at Bourbansais, the zoo, chateau, falconry & exhibitions! Old town & port of Dinan, St Lunaire & the aquarium at St Malo is a great way to entertain the children on a rainy afternoon! One week of beautiful weather to enjoy our favourite region of France. Happy days spent on the beach at St Cast. A trip to Pontivy to visit friends following a lovely afternoon spent swimming in the lake at Ploërmel near Josselin with its lovely castle. Looking forward to return! We had a lovely 2 wks, the gite was perfect and in an ideal position for getting about to the coast and inland. As previously mentioned Dinan, Dinard and St Lunaire are really worth visiting. What a wonderful gite and area. The Val de Rance has many beauty spots and really pretty towns and villages. Our favourite is Lehan and we were lucky enough to be on holiday when there was a choral concert in the church. Ken & Mina, June/July 2012

Dinan, Dinard & St Lunaire are well worth a visit but get there on your bike! There is a brilliant old railway track just the other side of the dual carriageway (towards Dinard 3k). Really enjoyed following the many cycle tracks which led to poppy fileds, small villages, ports, etc. We will really miss Dumber's regular visits. A dog with character! Josephine & Mike, June 2012

A wonderful welcome from Mme Lebreton and a great, relaxed & well-equipped place to stay! Highlights have been - Fort La Latte (a lovely old fort with wonderful views) & Zoo de la Bourbansais (a great family day out). Le Port de Dinan is a must see & food at La Vieille Auberge is wonderful & very well priced. St Malo Aquarium is the best one and great for a rainy day with the kids.
