Customer Reviews
A nice place well catered for kids. Visited Paimpol, St Brieuc, Plouha and a day trip through the "mountains" surprising how similar to Wales/Ireland/Cornwall. Love the food as always. Will come again! Steve, Tomoko, Amélie (4) & Kenji (2), October 2012
A very pleasant and well equipped cottage! Enjoyed our two weeks, good walks close by, good lunches in every restaurant! Peter & Judith, October 2012
A wonderfully cosy cottage - the best we have ever had in France in a beautiful, unspoilt area. Have spent the week walking part of the GR34 coastal path and visiting the lovely seaside towns especially Binic (stunning views)! Weather could have been better but it hasn't spoilt our enjoyment of a great week! Pam & Richard Perry, October 2012
Wonderful week - all the very helpful comments worth reading! We enjoyed Palms Plage a small friendly beach with an excellent creperie. The gardens near Trédarzec are worth a visit for anyone enjoying landscaped wilderness and flowers. Geoffrey & Helen, September 2012
Have had a good week with lovely weather and enjoyed visiting local towns and beaches. Goudelin is a relaxing place to be. Our favourites Binic, Pontrieux & Paimpol! The gite itself is more than adequate. We only wish we could stay longer or visit more often. Ruth & Andy Greatwood, August 2012
Lovely week here! Some highlights included a trip to Bréhat's island (wonderful scenery), visit to Ploumanac'h (admired the pink rocks). Also enjoyed the St Loup festival in Guingamp (12-18 August) particularly the parade through the street & the dancing exhibition. The zoo at Trégomeur was surprisingly good on a showery day. Pontrieux was interesting for the boat trip to see the old wash stations. Christine & Colin Hopkinson, August 2012
A very pleasant couple of weeks, mostly sunny! Michael Goldsmith, July/August 2012
Thoroughly enjoyed staying in the cottage & this part of Brittany! We found the local people very friendly & helpful. It was great to buy fresh bread every morning & the supermarket in Lanvollon had good meat, fish & vegetables. Fishmonger comes to the village Tuesday mornings by the church. All in all one of our best stays in France & the best gite by far. John & Rosemary Kearsey, July 2012
A lovely week in a beautiful part of Brittany! The gite was just as pictured and is located in an ideal spot for sightseeing in all directions. The property has been ideally suited to our needs & we have enjoyed the fantastic weather & good beaches nearby. We really recommend Binic for the beaches, restaurants & ice cream. Thank you Judith for your contact & information prior to arrival! Kirsty, Sean & Henry (2), May 2012
We had a nice time, liked the area and the cottage which we found really well equipped! The weather was cold for the time of the year but better than in the South of England. Highlights were Beauport Abbey near Paimpol, Ile de Bréhat (the cruise is well worth it). We enjoyed the market in Plouha and indulged in the local freshly cut asparagus! Went to Morlaix and along the coast north east (fabulous sandy beaches)! All in all we enjoyed the week & thank you for your help Judith! Tom & Irmela, May 2012
