This group of around 100 modern properties is on the outskirts of a village in a lovely area close to the Barrage d'Arzal dam and within walking distance of restaurants and bars. Compact, mid terraced holiday home (see also QB4290). No smoking. Fitted kitchen/dining area (m/wave, w/machine) & comfortable sitting area (tv, dvd) with French windows to garden. Wc. Open tread stairs to 1st floor with bath/shower room & 2 bedrms - 1 dble, 1 with children's bunk beds. Electric heating (included). Enclosed garden with lawn, decked patio, garden furniture & bbq. Lockable storage room (for bikes etc). Allocated parking space nearby. Utility charge: included.

This is a short drive from beaches & the Thursday market at La Roche Bernard.

John led us to the gite & it was so nice to see it was so well presented & clean. Took a stroll to Arzal Marina & the Barrage (beautiful weather) & went to Arzal for croissants & baguette. La Roche Bernard such a nice town with lots to see and lots of restaurants to chose from and Rochefort-en-Terre absolutely beautiful in all its parts! Maureen & George Kerr, September 2012

A very comfortable & well equipped house; we like the area very much! Our favourite places were Port Navalo (beautiful views) and Le Croisic (interesting little town). A very relaxing spot; the house was great for our 2-week stay. The blue information book was really useful & we'd recommend trips to Vannes, Rochefort-en-Terre & La Roche Bernard. Lots of great beaches around Pénestin & Damgan was good for our young boys. Port Navalo is a lovely spot. Pen-Be is good for me (rock pools & shell collecting). Pornichet is more commercial but has a lovely sandy beach & Carnac is also an interesting spot to visit. It was great having the garden; we had the paddling pool up! We have enjoyed a lovely week in Arzal - can't speak highly enough of Tina & John who were incredibly helpful when we had car trouble. We enjoyed trips to Vannes, Carnac, Guérande & La Roche Bernard. We can also recommend hiring canoe for a couple of hours and having a paddle on the river. There is a hire place across the barrage but it is worth a trip to La Roche Bernard as it is very pretty and the boat hire is cheaper! Richard, Clare & Emma (11) Rednall, August 2012

We've enjoyed our stay in this very well equipped property. We found the blue guide book far more useful than our professional guide Michelin. We wish we had made the trips to Pen-Be & environs earlier in our stay - same beautiful beaches, particularly Lanseria near Quimiac.
