Semi-detached gite adjoining a house in residential quarter, just 100m from the beach. Living room with fireplace & tv. Fitted kitchen with m/wave & d/washer. Bathroom. Wc. Dble bedrm. 1st floor has shower room, 2nd wc and 3bedrms - 2 dbles and a twin. Cot < 3yrs, high chair, stairgate. Electric heating. Games room. Phone. Enclosed garden with lawn, terrace, swing, furniture & bbq. Garage (w/machine). Utility charge: metered.
Gâvres is known as a presqu'île (nearly an island) and has a coastline dotted with tiny coves and beautiful beaches. Plouhinec (9k) holds a Sunday market in July & August.

Just finished a brilliant week here in Gavres. We're a party of three families; 6 adults & 4 kids. Having a big garden and beach just around the corner has been perfect for them. They've loved the boat trips from the north tip of Gavres to Port Louis and Lorient. Make sure you check the boat timetable very carefully though! We missed the last one back one day and got stranded in Port Louis in the rain. There are no direct buses. We were very fortunate - some locals had also missed the boat - they called for back up and drove all 9 of us back, two 25k road trips!
