Customer Reviews
This is a very quiet house with a very comfortable living room in a peaceful area. The coast is stunning & good for wandering or watery activities. The freshest fish & largest crabs we've ever seen from the Vivier at Le Diben & good boulangeries & charcuteries in many of the towns around. For cheap & cheerful, the Casino at Plougasnou is quick & easy to get to. For bigger shops, Leclerc at Morlaix. Enjoyed the week! Vera & Chris, September 2012
Our 2nd visit this time for 2 weeks; still as lovely a spot as last year. We recommend L'Allende restaurant in Morlaix, excellent food and great ambiance. We've again used the local buses wherever we could, try the line 20 from St Jean. Also try the boat trip from Le Diben - a great way to get directly to and from Ile de Batz with a tour en route of Château du Taureau and the sights of the Baie de Morlaix - excellent day out. The McGladdery family, August/September 2012
We are at the end of a wonderful week here. The gite has been quite a find - spacious, hot water, lovely garden, a TV showing the Olympics! We have a 14 mth old baby who slept well in the nursery, thought Trevor was a hoot, loved having her own little outdoor chair & was very pleased to find a bucket & seaside toys in the store. Beaches near St Jean & just on edge of Locquirec are both superb with very good ice cream to be found at the Brasserie. Morlaix is worth a visit & crêperie & market are worth the day out in Plougasnou. Amanda, David & baby Isobel, August 2012
2nd time here - had a lovely time again, so peaceful. Ideal for a family, all you need within 5 miles if you just want to chill out. Lovely beaches with plenty of rock pools and hardly any people. Great cakes and breads at the local patisserie in Plougasnou! Le Casino (supermarket) stocks all you will need but don't forget they shut between 12.15 and 2.30. Wish we had taken 2 weeks this time, maybe next time. Sarah, Paul & boys, July 2012
A really nice house in a nice area - a good holiday! Weather not so good but we still enjoyed ourselves. Lovely gite and very peaceful. We particularly enjoyed Océanopolis & Huelgoat. Thank you! Mary, Adrian, Christian & Emily Saunders, June 2012
A well-equipped gite in an excellent location - woodburner lovely on chilly evenings! Trevor the big black dog is still a welcome visitor. D & D Broomfield, May 2012
Our 4th stay here. Woodburner is a cracker! Love the big mirror in the lounge. The bar in Lanmeur is closed for 2 months (according to the ladies in the cake shop). Market day in Locquirec, Wednesday (bought garlic & onions from an elderly lady - both produced à la Roscoff! Super U & Intermarché stock garlic produced from Argentina, very odd). We will return unless we buy our own pad! Kevin & Joyce, May 2012
We all had a wonderful stay here and loved the gite and loved the visits from Trevor, what a beautiful tempered dog. Jane & Mick, Eloise (11) & Alex (14), April 2012
We've had a fantastic week with wonderful weather except for the final day, although it did not put us off great Morlaix market where we bought a lot of brilliant things. We would recommend going to Huelgoat because of the caves and beautiful rivers and forest. We have eaten good food including crevettes, spider crabs, langoustines, red and grey mullet and croissants. We absolutely love Trevor the big brilliant black lab - we would like to come again. Will Wood (9), April 2012
We all had a lovely experience at the gite. This is such a good base to explore the region. Trevor (the dog) was a delight, with his friendly attitude and companionship throughout our stay. Explored Tregastel, Carantec, Lannion, Roscoff. We are planning to come back in the future and maybe plan to stay here again. The Goggin family, April 2012
