Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Charming detached property 500m from the Trieux river (fishing, kayaking). Lovely, peaceful setting with panoramic views over valley. Owners' house at rear of property. Comfortable lounge with inset fireplace, tv & dvd. Kitchen/diner with f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer. Dble bedrm (king size bed) with en suite shower (separated by curtain). Wc. 1st floor has 2nd wc, bath/shower room (w/machine, t/dryer) and 2 bright twin bedrms. Travel cot, high chair, stairgate, bath seat. Electric heaters. Large front courtyard & pretty rear terrace with garden furniture, bbq & 2 sun loungers. Utility charge: metered.
A steam train runs alongside the river (can be seen from gite) from Paimpol to Pontrieux (May to mid-Sept). It stops at La Maison de L’Estuaire de Traou-Nez for tasting of local products and at your final destination of Pontrieux you can enjoy a relaxing boat trip. Beach at Pleubian (12k).
