Description of Accommodation
Detached holiday home in a group of 7 recently renovated cottages (see BF6074 Max 4 & BF6111 Max 6) on outskirts of village. Interior has attractive mix of old & new styles. Open plan living room with well equipped kitchen area (f/freezer, m/wave, d/washer) & lounge/dining area (woodburner, tv, dvd, leather sofas, sliding glass door to patio). 1 twin bedrm & 1 dble (king size bed). Shower (w/machine, t/dryer). Wc. Open tread spiral stairs to 1st flr with 2nd wc & twin bedrm. Duvets. Travel cot, high chair & stairgate on request. Electric heating. South-facing patio (garden furniture, bbq) overlooking owners' vegetable garden. Large grounds (swings, table tennis) shared with the other cottages. Utility charge: included.
Well situated close to beaches & village (shops, restaurants, Saturday market).

We visited Quimper and Concarneau again, both full of history and good shopping. Hot and sunny all week in a well presented gite. It was beautifully equipped with nice gardens, hospitable owners and a quiet atmosphere. We've had outings every day: Pointe du Raz for a coastal walk to the tip. Pointe du Van for the beach, Ile de Sein, day spent enjoying the island - had a (very) long lunch! We've had a wonderful time, something for everyone: beautiful beaches, rock pools & surfing for the kids and historic towns with good restaurants for the adults. Two fantastic weeks - the gite had everything we needed & our 3 children loved the garden, climbing frame and football.
