Description of Grand Hotel des Dunes, Lesconil
On a quiet stretch of the south Brittany coast, 25k south of Quimper, Lesconil is a pretty little fishing port - the busiest port in France for fresh langoustines - with fine sandy beaches and rocky coves. This good-value-for-money hotel overlooking the sea on the edge of town is family-run and adopts a no smoking policy. It has comfortable bedrooms, free Wi-Fi, a large sun terrace and a lovely restaurant where fresh seafood features strongly on the tempting menu.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.

This hotel faces directly onto the sandy dunes to the west of Lesconil port and is ideally placed for exploring southern Brittany and walking. The accommodation worked well with a lift being available. The restaurant and bar were better than expected and on occasion the food proved to be outstanding. Their speciality is seafood and their moules mariniere were most enjoyable. The staff were attentive and pleasant, they met every requirement.
