Laundry room (w/machine). 1st flr mezzanine (2-seater settee) leading to attic dble bedrm. Travel cot, stairgate, changing table. Electric heaters. Phone. Garden (furniture & built-in bbq). 2 sun loungers. Boules pitch. Utility charge: metered.

The nearby marked footpath GR38 (200m) runs alongside the Blavet river. If you're visiting Pontivy, it's worth driving on to the Lac de Guerlédan where there is bathing, pedaloes and canoeing.

What a glorious gite, & M de Toumelin so generous with his flowers, cider & garden produce! We found some interesting places to eat; one of the best is Les Algues Marines at St Cado, by Belz. Yes it's us! We're back again to our favourite gite. We wanted to see Brittany in the spring and we weren't disappointed. The weather for the 1st ten days was very hot and sunny; the only rain (thunder & lightning too) was last night. Brittany is very beautiful at this time of year. We enjoyed our coffees in Baud, our plat du jour (do experience if you've not already had one) and visiting Malestroit, one of our favourite towns. Derek and Hazel, April/May 2011

Thank you Guy Le Toumelin for our warm welcome to the gite. We have had a super holiday visiting many favourite places and exploring new ones. There is an English speaking congregation at Christ Church Ploërmel and we were warmly welcomed there & invited to stay for lunch. We can only endorse previous comments about the gite and hospitality shown by M. Le Toumelin. We are returning with enough apples to last until Christmas. We enjoyed very much our cycle rides along the Blavet and a visit to Etel. Superb holiday all round. I only hope there are enough dog biscuits left - whoever said he only has two?
