Large shared courtyard at front of property with garden furniture & bbq. Utility charge: included.

The nearby lake is huge, with lovely walks and lots of watersports as well as fishing and riding. Other places to visit near Caurel include Pontivy, Lorient and (5 minutes away) Mur de Bretagne.

Weather was not great but it did not matter as we had a great week. The gite is great & it seemed like we have known Gary & Amanda for years, that's how comfortable we felt - they are great hosts. We have had some very nice walks & enjoyed Beau Rivage especially as there was a café crème at the end of it. All in all we've had a great holiday & would recommend to friends. We loved the walk to Beau Rivage and the swim to cool us off was a great reward; we had great days out to Carnac and a mini-tour taking us through Guingamp, Morlaix and Lannion which definitely rivals our favourite Dinan. This is a fantastic place to spend 2 weeks. We've really enjoyed walks around parts of the lake and the woods and have really appreciated just being able to walk from here!
