Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
Pleasant detached property, one of a group of 5 newly built houses (each spaced well apart with plenty of privacy) a very short drive from the ferry at Roscoff. No smoking. Open plan living room has well equipped fitted kitchen area (m/wave) with door to garage (w/machine); dining area/lounge (tv - English channels, dvd, video) with French windows to patio. Wc. 1st floor has bathroom/wc & 2 dble bedrms with duvets. Electric heating (included). Fairly large garden with grass, patio, furniture & bbq. A railway line is nearby (small trains pass just twice daily). Utility charge: included.
This is very well situated in a lovely area, on the outskirts of a market town and within easy reach of the beach. There are lots of sandy beaches and coves to discover as well as pretty villages and towns such as nearby St Pol de Léon (market day is Tuesday) which has a beautiful cathedral. Also worth visiting is medieval Morlaix with its huge Saturday market and impressive viaduct.

Having been many times to France, this however was our first stay in this area. We were pleasantly surprised and have had a very relaxing time! We have cycled many places and have had some lovely walks around the stunning coastline! There are many 'supermarchés' within very easy reach and the local markets held at different villages each morning are a must! We have had a wonderful holiday here in St Pol de Leon, there are some beautiful beaches and some nice places within walking reach. The local markets are a must. The cottage is wonderful and very cosy. We will definitely be visiting again soon. The Keen family, August 2010
Excellent holiday! Travelled from home in Devon by walking, bus, walk, ferry and more walking. This is an ideal spot for discovering the area around Roscoff, a beautiful place to explore, visit local markets and enjoy walking the amazing coastline. Everything just wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful holiday - a lovely home in a beautiful region. We have had nice meals in Roscoff - Auberge du Quai and Hotel des Arcades. On the final night we had the best meal at Le Surcouf, Roscoff (it was the nicest and service was great). The local beach is safe for children and the beach at Dossen is great for watersports.
