The Hotel Le Britanny is a real gem. The perfect location with stunning views over the harbour and the Ile de Batz. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the facilities were excellent. There is a nice swimming pool, a stunning garden with great views and the hotel is a 10 minute walk from Roscoff with its shops and a few restaurants. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The restaurant, where breakfast is served, is excellent. The breakfast service surpassed our expectations and the views are breathtaking. The evening dinner service is excellent but beware that this is a high quality restaurant with a fish-based menu and the minimum price per head is around 50-60 Eur per head. The restaurant does its best to cater for vegetarians and fussy eaters. If you like fine French cuisine and fine wine in beautiful surroundings, this is the place to go. Le Brittany is among the very finest hotels we have enjoyed in France, the beautiful old buildings have been enhanced and developed with taste. The staff were professional, helpful and are a credit to their company. We did not dine in the hotel, but the breakfast served in the lovely dining room was a buffet with a generous choice of breads, meats, cheeses, jams and honey. For those with enormous appetite there was the option of upgrading to American breakfasts. Our stay at this hotel was a memorable one and we look forward to another visit soon. Beautifully located, with charming staff and a wonderful restaurant this hotel made a great venue for a much needed short break. Although our room was somewhat dark the general standard of accommodation was high and comfort and service levels were all that could be wished for. We would normally scoot off into the interior after off loading from the ferry, but we decided to try Roscoff as other people had said how charming the town was. We were not disappointed even though the weather on our first day (13th July) was awful. The Bastille Day week end fireworks and "buzz" in the town were an added bonus. We managed to fit in visits to Lesneven (our town twin), Morlaix and Quimper. Recommended? Yes, I should say so!! Mr & Mrs Sadler, July 2012

We enjoyed two lovely days at Ar Men Du in Brittany - wonderful scenery and views despite the rain and wind. The accommodation was superb, smart and very well presented and the restaurant delighted our taste buds at every meal.
