Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
A short drive from St Malo, this spacious semi-detached house is beside the very hospitable owners' home with shared enclosed courtyard. Living room (sitting area with fireplace) and 2 dining areas. Small basic kitchenette (m/wave). Shower room. Wc. 3 first floor dble bedrms (1 has no window & interconnects with another). Wc. Cot < 3yrs, high chair. W/machine. C/heating (10 euros/day). Garage. Garden with swings, table tennis, basketball net, furniture, bbq. Utility charge: included.
St Malo has a lovely old walled town with rampart walks. Inside the walls there are good shops & fine restaurants. Dinan's Thursday market is a must.

We have had a superb holiday with wonderful weather warm & sunny every day. We all fell in love with Cancale. We recommend the Grain de Vanille - a bakery where for 4 euros you can enjoy a plate of freshly made cakes & biscuits with delicious coffee. Highly recommended. We were very comfortable in the gite. Particularly memorable were the seafront at Cancale and St Malo; the colourful sunrises + sunsets, the fragrance of the lavender hedge outside the gite. Mr Bertrand showed us how you can just make out the Mont St Michel on the horizon (on a clear day). The Travers family, October 2008
