Description of Accommodation
Pleasant mid-terrace holiday home in a row of 3 properties, attractively decorated in a maritime theme. Well situated, in a quiet residential area of St Malo only 1k from the beach and 200m from local bakery, bar and church. Entrance leads into lounge/dining room with flat screen tv & video. Kitchen (f/freezer, d/washer, hob & mini-oven only). Laundry room (m/wave, w/machine). Wc. First floor has shower room and 2 comfortable bedrms - 1 dble and 1 room with bunk beds & sofa bed. Duvets. Travel cot. Electric heaters. Small enclosed courtyard/patio (by car park) with garden furniture & electric bbq. 1 reserved parking space. Utility charge: metered.
St Malo's old town is lovely to visit at any time of year but especially appealing in the summer with street entertainers and pavement cafés. Dinard, Cancale (famous for oysters) and Mont St Michel are all recommended and within easy reach of here.

We drove the coastal route to Cancale (very scenic). At this time of year there was much activity to watch as the mussels and oysters are in season and are being harvested. We would recommend walking the walls in St Malo and also walking out at low tide to the Fort National, Grand Bé and Petit Bé. Mont St Michel is less than an hour's drive. If you get away from the shops and walk the ramparts it has more atmosphere. We really enjoyed Alligator Bay nature park on the way back and Mont Dol for spectacular views.
