Description of Hotel Escale Oceania, St Malo
This modern hotel overlooks St Malo's Grande Plage and is just ten minutes stroll from the fascinating Intra Muros old town, with its narrow streets full of shops, bars and restaurants. The Escale Oceania offers underground parking and a small bar, plus pleasant bedrooms that are soundproofed and are in either of the two adjacent buildings separated by a small terrace. Hotel parking approx. 17 euros/night or free street parking, and if you are travelling as a foot passenger the ferry terminal is a good half hour walk (2k).

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.

We were very impressed with the Hotel Oceana in St Malo. Parking was good and getting anywhere from the hotel was easy. The staff were very pleasant, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Very good value for money. The Stewart Party, May 2013
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was a little on the small side, but we had a sea view at no extra charge and the bathroom was excellent - plenty of hot water instantly and the shower had plenty of space. Breakfast buffet was so-so - plenty of choice but bread and pastries obviously reheated from part-baked and the bacon was soggy. Staff all very friendly and polite. Quite a long walk to the old town, but parking was easy and free at this time of year. Mr & Mrs Evans, March 2013
The Escale Oceania is a very clean and friendly hotel which doesn't feel like a hotel chain. The location is excellent, just across the road from the beach, and our garden view room was very quiet and comfortable. The family rooms are great - not huge, but large enough with the mezzanine floor for the children. It wouldn't be suitable for small children due to the steep stairs. Beakfast was very good.
