Description of Hotel Oceania, St Malo
This romantic resort, with its long maritime tradition and historic attractions, is one of France's great tourist centres - many travelling no further on leaving the ferry. For those who do decide to stay put, the Oceania has much to recommend it as it is, quite literally, next to the beach and casino and is the closest hotel to the old town. The designer furnishings are stylishly attractive in tones of blue and brown and air conditioned bedrooms all have ultra modern shower rooms (a few have bathrooms). No restaurant but plenty of choice nearby. Hotel parking (limited) approx.15 euros/night or free street parking, and the ferry terminal is approximately a 20 min walk (1.4k).

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.

Stayed at the Oceania and was very pleased - spotless, bright and clean. Very nice room and although on main road was very quiet, even to the extent of not hearing any noise from hotel guests. Very good modern hotel. Lovely beds, lovely bathroom. Just outside the old town (Intra Muros), but within easy walking distance. Also within easy walking of Tourist Info/bus stops etc. Quiet area, but front of hotel looks directly over wonderful beach. Parking easier here than in old town. The Harts & Peppers, July 2012

Hotel Oceania is ultra modern and faces one of the big big beaches of St Malo with its huge tides and miles and miles of sand. Facilities including the open air jacuzzi were terrific. Hotel car park for those with big vehicles was a challenge but worth it just to have the car under the building, We will be going back there. Mr & Mrs Seymour, October 2012
