Customer Reviews
This is a really excellent property in a beautiful area. The gite is extremely well equipped and the owners gave us a lovely welcome. All mod cons, including a dishwasher, washing machine, DVD player, CD player (both with a small selection of discs) and the garden is large, well maintained and has lots of furniture and equipment for outdoor living. The kitchen has sufficient essential supplies to get you started (coffee, tea, Fairy liquid, dishwasher products, cling film, foil etc) and the local stores have everything you could possibly need. The village is less than 5 minutes walk, and has a bakery, fishmongers, butchers, florist, hardware store, a couple of bars and 2 supermarkets. The Warmans, August 2012
The market at Lannion is a must on a Thursday whilst lunch in Lannion at La Gourmandine, a restaurant up a side street off the main square, a lucky find. Here your meat is cooked over coals in old fireplace in front of you. Popplestone family, August 2010
Best things are market in Paimpol (Tues), steam train from Paimpol to Pontrieux, zoo at Trégomeur, Chateau Roche Jagu. No light pollution so really good views of the stars. Thomas family, August 2010
Thank you for the use of bikes. William enjoyed cycling to the boulangerie every morning, and cycling along the lanes past the artichoke fields and gardens of hydrangeas was a great way to get to know the Presqu'île Sauvage! Drake family, July 2010
The bakery in Pleubian is excellent. A warm welcome from all of the locals in the shops and cafés. Paimpol market on Tuesday not be missed. Heys family, July 2010
What a wonderful gite and fantastic welcome - thank you! The best beaches are near Pors Hir / Castle Muir - absolutely stunning. Also there is a wonderful beach near Port Beni, about 10 mins away. Lovely sandy beach and lots of crabs when the tide goes out. Decesare family, May 2010
