Description of Accommodation
Port du Crouesty in south Brittany is set on a finger of land between a sheltered yacht harbour and a south facing beach. The Gulf of Morbihan is close by, where you can island hop on little ferries. Vannes, on the gulf, is a lovely old city with an excellent weekly market, and its huge aquarium is fascinating. In summer there is much to enjoy inland, too - watch out for notices advertising festivals, art exhibitions, sporting events and village fairs.
This complex of 373 apartments (with lift) and 12 houses is designed in the style of a traditional Breton village, with small streets and tiny squares. Most on-site activities here are only available in July and August. Wi-Fi at reception (charge payable). Most apartments are south-facing and there is direct access from the site to the beach.
Max: 4/5 - Apartment has living room with tv + 2 single sofa beds & pull-out bed (or bunk bed in bedroom). Bedroom sleeping 2. Kitchenette (hob, mini oven or microwave + dishwasher). Bathroom. Wc. Most have balcony with garden furniture.
Max: 6/7 - Apartment has living room with tv + 2 single sofa beds & pull-out single bed (or single bed in cabin bedroom). Bedroom or mezzanine with double bed or 2 single beds. Bunk beds in cabin bedroom. Kitchenette (hob, mini oven or microwave + dishwasher). Bathroom/wc. Most have balcony with garden furniture.
Extra Services
SPORTS - Watersports (windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, fishing trips). Volleyball, archery, table tennis. 9 tennis courts 400m, 10-13 euros per hour. Golf 3k (10% discount).
FOR CHILDREN - Small playground. Children's activities for 5 age groups between 3-18yrs (some only open in high season) with many supervised daytime and evening activities, themed parties and discos. There is also an infants club 3-35mths, open all year. All clubs are open from Sunday afternoon to Friday in July & August (open daily except Wednesday all other months), are subject to availability and payable.
OTHER ACTIVITIES - Pool exercise classes. Riding 2k and pony rides 700m (Jul/Aug). Cycling (mountain bike hire 10 minute walk away).
FACILITIES - Fitness centre with thalassotherapy. Wi-Fi at reception (charge payable).
SWIMMING - 2 large heated pools (open April-Sept) with loungers, parasols and children's paddling pool.
Bed linen provided
Baby facilities - Cot, linen, bath, high chair + stroller hire £35 per stay. Request when booking.
